Please ensure that you only access the loading bay during the build-time allocated to your stand type - please refer to the timetable. Vehicles do not need to be booked in but please note the loading bay will be busy and you may need to queue to access it. Vehicles should be unloaded as swiftly as possible and then immediately removed.
- The loading bay is open throughout build-up and breakdown and from 0800-0900 hrs on event days for stand re-stocking.
- It is located to the rear of the BDC on Liverpool Road – satnav postcode N1 0QH.
- Look for the “Goods In” sign between Bromfield Street and Barford Street.
- Once unloaded, vehicles must be removed from the Loading Bay immediately. If you need to park the vehicle once you have unloaded, please refer to the parking section below.
- Respect must be paid to local residents when accessing the Loading Bay – observe road speed limits and keep noise levels to a minimum.
- All drivers and crew must report to the security office upon arrival.
- There is no pedestrian access through the Loading Bay barrier.
- High vis must be worn at all times in the Loading Bay.
- Please ensure you are wearing appropriate footwear – no heels or open toe shoes are allowed.
- Hazard lights should be switched on when moving in the Loading Bay.
- The speed limit in the Loading Bay is 5mph.
- No rubbish or waste materials may be left in the Loading Bay – charges are levied for any abandoned items.
- No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the Loading Bay.
- Cars under 2m in height can load and unload from the carpark at the front of the BDC.
- Loading Bay staff and traffic Marshalls must be cooperated with at all times.
- Trolleys are not provided by the venue and your delivery company must therefore make adequate provision to move your goods from the Loading Bay to your stand.
- All drivers delivering to the venue must be inducted with the event Site Rules prior to arrival at the venue.
Height Limits in the Loading Bay
The height limit for the main area of the Loading Bay (Lower Loading Bay) is 3m. If your vehicle is taller than 3m (with a maximum height of 4m), it will need to go to the Upper Loading Bay.

There are two goods lifts in the Loading Bay:

Door Sizes
There are various doorways you will need to pass through when transporting materials from the goods lift to the hall – please ensure all goods and materials being brought into the venue are compatible with these sizes.
