The Beauty Show 2024 is open from 10:00 until 17:00; Friday, 20 September - Saturday 21 September 2024. 

Where?

The Beauty Show Show is at the Business Design Centre,  52 Upper Street, Islington, London, N1 0QH. 

Travel to the show

Getting to the Business Design Centre is easy. 

By CAR

For your convenience, there is a secure, 250-space car park on-site. If you’re driving to the Business Design Centre, make sure you pre-book your space to avoid disappointment. Satnav location: N1 0PW. 

Here’s everything else you need to know about parking at the Business Design Centre:

  • Upper Street Car Park
  • Day time tariff (07:00 - 19:00): £8.40 for first 2 hours. £4.20* per hour thereafter. Night time tariff (19:00 - 07:00): £2.80 per hour (min 2 hours)
  • Bicycles are free to park
  • Motorcycle £7 for 24 hours
  • Located next to the BDC, under the Hilton Hotel
  • Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Protected by CCTV and on-site security
  • Dedicated spaces for motorcycles
  • Facilities for disabled drivers

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

You’ll find the Business Design Centre right in the heart of Islington, with excellent public transport links to Central London and national destinations. You can easily reach the BDC via bus, London Underground and Overground and it's a short walk from National Rail stations at Kings Cross and St Pancras International. Whether you are travelling from home, by bus, boat, or arriving by air, use TFL’s journey planner to find out the best way to get to the BDC from all London airports, locations and transport hubs.

General entry

General entry tickets are now on sale from 1 March 2024 until 08:00 21 September. All tickets not purchased by this time must be purchased on the door. 

Children

The event is designed for adults and children under the age of 14 are not permitted.  Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. 

Refund policy    

We operate a no refund policy on tickets bought this year for this year’s show.

Additional needs

We will have a quiet room available for anyone who just needs some time out. Please visit the Organiser's Office (entrance to the show) for support if you need it or tell a member of staff on the show floor if you'd like assistance. Please contact us at thebeautyshow@futurenet.com if you would like to request a BSL interpretor.

Accessibility 

If you arrive by car, the Business Design Centre has 8 dedicated parking spaces for blue badge holders in the on-site car park. There is a passenger lift to street level or the BDC forecourt, or you can take the 17-step pedestrian staircase. The route from the car park to the building is well-lit and clearly marked. The surface is firm. There are two staircases between street level and the building (5 and 12 steps respectively, all with handrails). We have a ramp on the forecourt.

If someone is dropping you off in a vehicle, please contact our front of house team so we can give you access to the forecourt through our security point. Please call 0207 288 6475.

If you are coming by train, the nearest step-free station is Kings Cross and St Pancras International, which is easily reachable via bus or taxi.

All the reception desks are fitted with DDA-compliant registration points for people in wheelchairs.

All levels of the venue are accessible via passenger lifts, with low-reach buttons, braille, back mirrors and distress alarms. Every staircase in the BDC has handrails. All publicly-accessible areas of the venue are well-lit.

We are happy to accommodate people in wheelchairs in any of our spaces.

We are happy to welcome guide dogs to the BDC. So we can make sure your guide dog is as well looked after as you are, please contact the project manager for your event before you arrive. Alternatively, call the concierge team on 0207 288 6475.

Eating and drinking

Jack’s restaurant opens at 8am serving cooked breakfasts, homemade wood-fired pizzas and sandwiches as well and coffee and cake. Skinny Kitchen inside the venue serves clean, healthy food. There are also a number of bars, cafes and restaurants within a short walk from the venue. 

 

WiFi access

Free visitor WiFi coverage is available across the Business Design Centre You can connect using any compatible device, such as a mobile phone, laptop or tablet. This free service is suitable for sending emails, simple web browsing and accessing social networks.
